Day 3

Linda's
We walked to Linda's for breakfast because they are known for their Dutch Pancakes. I had an Apple and Bacon combination. It was sooo good. They also served homemade maple syrup and I LOVE maple!

Groceries
On our way back to the resort, we stopped to purchase water, pop, and bananas.

Pool Time
It's a hot one today, so we decided to lay by the pool. They play a good variety of music and it's not too loud. I'm blogging right now to get out of the sun for a few. It's nice that they have Wireless around the pool.

When I finished, and went back to our lounge chairs, I thought there was bird poop all over mom's towel and when I looked up, there were the culprits....2 bright green Iguanas! Can you imagine if she was laying there? That's what happens when you sit under a Palm Tree.

Lunch
We ate our left-overs from dinner last night.

Pool
I stayed out, but mom went in. I couldn't believe that she was watching her Soap Opera! She pretended that she didn't know they were on.

Evening
We went to the hotel zone again and discovered more shops. We had dinner at Casa Tua (Margherita Pizza) and then we had a drink at Soprano's piano bar, which was the plan for last night. Then, we walked across the street to the Occidental so mom could gamble. (I sure hope that's not all I want to do when I get old). That hotel is sooo boring. The musician in the lobby sings the same exact songs every night. All the stores were closed, so I just got a free cup of coffee from the casino and waited for mom. After a bit, I couldn't take it any more and had to retrieve her. Now, here I am blogging, catching up on e-mail and hoping to post pictures shortly.

Natalie Holloway
Poor Natalie! I believe that after she was killed, she was thrown into the shark-infested waters. I got a map and there are notations all over many of the beaches saying "no swimming allowed" and then they have pictures of fins all over. See, that's exactly why I don't swim in the ocean!

Anyhow, the island is very safe. As with any destination, you have to use caution. She just made a bad decision (as did her friends). There are some bad people wherever you go, and unfortunately, she met them.

Dennis, you know that I'm a grudge-holder, but you can let go now! You will love the island!

You shouldn't have finished your Christmas shopping so early. Knowing you, you are probably working on birthdays for next year. Too bad it is raining. We are getting an ice storm today. Have a great time!

My mom has been doing her Christmas shopping though!

I heard about the weather there. That's why even though it rained the last couple of days, I can't complain b'cuz at least I'm not in Chicago.

Just sitting outside at the pool here and it's night-time, so it's all lit up and there are some people sitting around. Wireless at the pool...what an idea!
